and I haven't even had my lunch yet.
Today I got racks for a very big job for a very big client. Our schematics engineer that typically handles all of the wiring diagrams is on vacation until the end of next week.
I have no schematics or even a rack elevation to actually build the rack, the most important pieces of equipment that are required for the system to actually function are on back order, and someone has to deliver this news to the client (thankfully not me).
What I do have to do is create an elevation, and determine some of the wiring paths. I don't even have the software (or a machine with the software on it) to make the diagram, much less the experience with the software in order to do it.
Please post sweet hearses so I can make sure it's ready for me, because this job is nuts.
Oh, and the client is a ridiculous baller that also has a lot of leverage with the upper management, so anything less than perfection is a serious issue. What's even better is that I don't even really have the room in my office for the current jobs, the staged equipment that goes out Monday, and all the equipment that's being delivered.
So yeah. Hearse Friday please.
